Love’s Expands RV Services With Tire and Battery Sales at 76 Locations

Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores has begun offering tires and batteries for recreational vehicles at a majority of its RV Stop locations, expanding services to 76 sites across 27 states, the company announced.

The move adds new maintenance options for RV travelers, allowing customers to purchase products and receive on-site installation either in a service bay or at nearby RV hookups. The offering is part of partnerships with Lionshead Tire & Wheel and Interstate Batteries.

According to a press release, Eric Daniels, vice president of Love’s Truck Care at Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores, said the expansion is designed to reduce downtime for travelers.

“Love’s knows RV travelers want to make the most of their time on the road,” Daniels said. “So, alongside RV mobile reservations, full-service hookups, dog parks and the amenities they already count on, availability of tires, batteries and installation will help them stay road ready and get back to what matters, enjoying the journey.”

Through its agreement with Lionshead, Love’s is stocking Tamarack special trailer tires, Westlake ST tires and commercial trailer tires at select Truck Care locations. The tires are pre-mounted and balanced, which the company said reduces service time.

Tim Miller, chief executive officer of Lionshead, also said the partnership expands access to tire products for RV customers.

“At Lionshead, we have an intense focus on the customer experience and see a lot of opportunities in this exclusive partnership with Love’s to provide over-the-road RV tire solutions for travelers,” Miller said. “We’re excited to expand access to quality RV tire and wheel assemblies through Love’s nationwide network of service locations.”

Interstate Batteries is supplying Marine/RV deep-cycle batteries with enhanced flooded battery technology, designed to power onboard amenities such as refrigerators and cooktops.

“These RV battery offerings build on our foundation of success with Love’s as an over-the-road maintenance leader for professional drivers,” said Ben Facer, senior vice president of Commercial at Interstate Batteries. “Together, we’re providing RV customers reliability, confidence and nationwide support that Interstate Batteries is known for.”

Love’s currently operates 129 RV Stops nationwide and said the number of locations offering tires and batteries is expected to grow as it expands its RV and truck care network.
