Patriot RV Resort in Satsuma, Louisiana, marked its grand opening July 4 with a free amphitheater concert, fireworks display and family-focused activities as the resort officially introduced its accommodations and recreational offerings to guests and the public.
The grand opening celebration featured performances from Chloe Harrison, Madelynn Johnston, and headliners Shawn Allen and Titanium Rain.
The amphitheater event was free for Patriot RV Resort guests and members of the public. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held July 2 at the resort property ahead of the grand opening. Livingston Parish President Randy Delatte and other local officials participated in the event, which included remarks from community leaders and business representatives.
The resort currently offers 91 extra-wide, full-hookup RV and camper sites along with 12 fully furnished two-story cottages.
Each RV site includes a 20-foot concrete pad with pull-through or back-in options and hookups for water, sewer and electric service with 20-, 30- and 50-amp connections.
The property also features a range of recreational amenities, including fishing, pickleball, a lazy river, kiddie pool and an adults-only pool with a swim-up bar.
A centrally located lodge provides refreshments, including Sheri’s bar, and food trucks were available near the amphitheater during the grand opening event.
“Our resort is designed to offer a premier, state-of-the-art entertainment destination where luxury meets family fun in a safe and welcoming environment,” Patriots RV Resort Manager Hope Courtney said in an article published by AN17 Local News.
The resort’s 12 cottages include lake views and are furnished with two queen beds, linens, Smart TVs, and kitchens equipped with appliances, cookware and utensils.
Patriot RV Resort also provides high-speed, fiber-backed WiFi throughout the property. The development’s RV sites and cottage accommodations are designed to support both short-term visitors and guests seeking extended stays.
