The American Glamping Association (AGA) will host its August Glamping Business Spotlight on Aug. 26, bringing together glamping operators, suppliers and other industry members for a virtual session featuring updates on the sector and presentations from five businesses.
The event is scheduled for 11 a.m. Mountain time and will include representatives from Glamping Show Americas, Staylist, Mscapes, Tentations LLC, Sustainable Architecture + Consulting and Sojourn Lodging.
The session is designed to provide members with an opportunity to discuss their businesses, ask questions and connect with other members of the glamping community.
A featured portion of the program will focus on the upcoming Glamping Show Americas, scheduled for Sept. 28-30. Sarah Riley of the Glamping Show Americas team will participate in the session. Riley is described by the association as a coach, consultant, podcast host and trainer with more than 10 years of experience in the glamping industry.
Riley will provide updates on this year’s show and answer questions from participants during the live session.
Staylist will also participate in the panel. The company provides hospitality management software that combines operations, accounting, revenue management and guest experience tools in a single platform. Its stated customer base includes hospitality operators such as glamping resorts.
Mscapes, another panel participant, provides turnkey glamping services covering luxury tents, cabins and other site solutions. The company works with entrepreneurs on projects ranging from initial consultation and design through production, logistics and installation.
Tentations LLC will highlight its mobile glamping accommodations. The company’s units are designed for rapid deployment and year-round use and include off-grid capabilities, according to the event description.
Sojourn Lodging, based in Sevierville, Tennessee, operates a tiny home destination offering private accommodations and outdoor amenities in the Smoky Mountains. The business is also participating in the August panel.
Sustainable Architecture + Consulting, identified in the event materials as SA+C Inc., is a boutique architecture and design practice focused on sustainable residential and small-scale commercial projects. Its work incorporates material reuse, salvage and place-based sustainability.
The August Glamping Business Spotlight is positioned as a networking and information-sharing event for AGA members, including operators and suppliers as well as others seeking to remain connected with the glamping industry.
