Lippert Promotes Kara Bauman to Director of Corporate and Community Impact

Lippert Components (Lippert), a global supplier of engineered components for the recreation and transportation industries, announced the promotion of Kara Bauman to director of corporate and community impact.

Since joining the company in December 2021 as corporate and community impact manager, Bauman has been instrumental in driving Lippert’s philanthropic initiatives and volunteer programs. Her new role underscores Lippert’s ongoing commitment to fostering meaningful community partnerships and enhancing its positive influence locally and globally.

Bauman has made significant contributions to Lippert’s community-focused programs, establishing streamlined processes and pioneering “impactful initiatives.” One of her achievements was leading the development of the Lippert Cares Community Impact Grant, a program designed to support nonprofit organizations. Additionally, Bauman played a pivotal role in achieving the 100K Volunteer Hour Initiative, which included organizing the annual Global Volunteer Week.

Reflecting on her new position, Bauman emphasized the importance of emotional intelligence and data-driven decision-making in fostering organizational success. “This role requires a thorough understanding that how we treat one another is a determining factor in organizational success,” she stated. Bauman expressed her dedication to blending compassion with accountability to drive meaningful impact within Lippert and the communities it serves.

Bauman’s leadership has also extended to technological innovation, spearheading the development of a custom Salesforce CRM tailored for Lippert Cares. This tool has transformed how the company tracks and reports its community engagement, allowing for more efficient and transparent operations.

According to a press release, Amber Selking, chief culture and leadership development officer at Lippert, highlighted Bauman’s qualifications and deep ties to the community, noting that her professional experience positions her uniquely to lead Corporate and Community Impact efforts.

Selking further praised Bauman for embodying Lippert’s vision of making business a force for good. Under Bauman’s guidance, Lippert has strengthened relationships with nonprofit organizations and created a model for meaningful corporate giving.
