Jellystone Park Expands Summer 2026 Footprint With Four New Camp-Resorts Across US

Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park is adding four new family Camp-Resorts in Ohio, Virginia, Tennessee and Michigan as the summer glamping, camping and RV season approaches, the company announced May 4.

The expansion comes as the brand, which operates more than 75 franchised locations across the United States and Canada in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences, prepares for increased summer travel demand.

Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts are known for pools, jumping pillows, themed weekends and character interactions with Yogi Bear, Cindy Bear and Boo Boo, alongside RV sites and glamping accommodations.

In Ohio, Jellystone Park Cincinnati is being developed from the former Cincinnati Camp Cedar, located less than one mile from Kings Island amusement park.

New attractions including a jumping pillow, wagon rides, foam parties and character interactions will be ready by Memorial Day weekend, complementing existing pools, sports courts, arcades and restaurants, along with themed weekends such as Christmas in July and Halloween events.

In Virginia, Williamsburg Campground has joined the Jellystone Park system. New owners added character experiences and themed weekends featuring Yogi Bear, Cindy Bear and Boo Boo.

The site also includes three pools, a splash pad, jumping pillows, disc golf, gem mining, basketball, playgrounds and nature trails.

In Tennessee, Jellystone Park Pigeon Forge is undergoing a multimillion-dollar renovation at the former Bear Cove Village site. By June 1, it will offer Jellystone-themed activities, character interactions and themed weekends, along with new amenities such as a jump pad and Gaga ball pit.

In Michigan, the Lake of the North Camp-Resort has been rebranded from Outdoor Adventure Lake of the North Resort and Campground. It adds character interactions, foam parties, games like candy bar bingo, arts and crafts and theme events such as Christmas in July and Chocolate Lovers Week.

Trent Hershenson, vice president of Marketing, said, “Our franchisees work hard to create new ways to entertain kids and parents all day long, so there’s always something new each year.’”

He added that new attractions and theme events are rolling out across multiple states, including Indiana, South Dakota, Texas and Utah, with additions such as splashgrounds, snowless tubing, water zones and themed weekends scheduled to open by Memorial Day weekend in several locations.
