RoverPass has introduced a new Housekeeping feature within its campground reservation and management platform, allowing campground owners and operators to manage site cleaning, assign staff tasks and monitor site readiness from a single system.
The new capability integrates housekeeping operations into the same platform parks already use to manage reservations, replacing manual processes such as group text messages, paper logs and verbal updates that many operators continue to rely on during peak camping periods.
According to RoverPass, the feature is designed to improve visibility into site turnover, helping campground operators track which sites have been cleaned and are ready for incoming guests.
The company said missed cleanings can delay check-ins, affect guest satisfaction and reduce booking opportunities, particularly during busy seasons.
“Owners put real effort into filling their parks, and then lose time on the back end trying to figure out which sites are actually ready,” Ravi Parikh, CEO and founder of RoverPass, said.
“Housekeeping closes that gap. It takes cleaning out of scattered text threads and gives owners a way to see and manage it directly, right alongside the reservations it supports,” Parikh added.
The Housekeeping feature enables managers to assign cleaning tasks, prioritize time-sensitive site turnovers and monitor the status of every campsite from a centralized dashboard.
Housekeeping staff receive assignments through a companion application, while completed work can be documented with photos to provide a record of completed tasks and support quality control.
Because the capability is integrated into the existing RoverPass platform, operators do not need to manage a separate software system or train staff on an additional application, the company said.
Key functions include assigning cleaning tasks with priority levels, tracking site status so front desk staff know which sites are available, documenting completed cleanings with photographs and managing housekeeping within the same reservation and operations platform.
“Campground owners told us cleaning was the last part of operations still living in text threads, whiteboards, and one person’s memory,” Angie Tuarez, product leader at RoverPass, said.
“Housekeeping brings that work into the platform the team already uses, so owners get a real view of what is clean and what still needs attention, and their staff get a clear, shared list to work from,” Tuarez added.
