Outdoorsy, a global online RV rental and outdoor travel marketplace, has been named one of America’s Best Startup Employers in 2022 by Forbes Media for the third consecutive year.
In addition to being the only vehicle rental marketplace ranked in the transportation category, Outdoorsy was the only peer-to-peer vacation rental company named to Forbes‘ survey, according to a press release.
Forbes and Statista Inc. analyzed over 7 million data points from employee reputation, employee satisfaction, and growth to identify the top startup employers.

Data from the RV Industry Association suggest about 72 million Americans are planning to take a road trip this year. While prioritizing the 67% of first-time RVers visiting the site daily, Outdoorsy’s Head of People Cindy Strong said the company continues to prioritize its focus within.

America’s Best Startup Employers were selected based on an innovative methodology evaluating three key factors: employee satisfaction, employee reputation, and company growth. To be considered for the ranking, employers must have their headquarters based in the US, and founded between 2012 and 2019. The final list recognizes the top 500 companies based on over 8 million data points.
