RV parks and resorts across Florida are preparing to welcome snowbirds for the upcoming winter season, with many still offering availability for RVers seeking extended stays between January and March.
Bobby Cornwell, president and CEO of the Florida RV Park and Campground Association, noted that while some parks are fully booked, others have space to accommodate travelers. “While some parks are sold out, others still have room for RVers, including extended stays,” Cornwell said.
To assist snowbirds in locating available parks, the association recently conducted a survey of its members to identify which properties still have openings. The results highlight numerous options, including Breezy Oaks RV Park in Bushnell, which recently expanded by 178 sites, bringing its total to 396 with high-speed internet access. Amenities at the park include a heated pool, a dog park, and propane services.
