Airxcel presented a range of cooking appliances from its InVision and Suburban brands at the 2024 OEM New Product Showcase, held on October 16-17 at the RV/MH Hall of Fame. The event featured advanced products tailored specifically for the needs of RV owners, emphasizing Airxcel’s commitment to enhancing the RV culinary experience.
Chris Greer, business unit manager for InVision, highlighted the strategic collaboration between InVision and Suburban, underlining the diverse appliance options now available to RV original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
Greer stated, “Thanks to the integration of InVision and Suburban under the Airxcel umbrella, we’re now able to offer our OEM partners a wide selection of options that meet different budgetary needs, kitchen layouts, and culinary preferences.”
Among the appliances showcased were 12V refrigerators, available in various sizes, ranging from a spacious 20 cubic feet to a compact 1.3 cubic feet model. These units combine sleek, residential-inspired designs with adjustable shelving, offering practical yet stylish solutions for mobile living.
The showcase also included new cooking solutions like free-standing ranges, induction cooktops, gas ranges, microwaves, and hybrid models combining LP gas with induction technology. One notable model is the hybrid LP gas and induction cooktop, designed to provide flexibility for RV owners. Available in configurations such as a single LP gas burner paired with a single induction burner or a two LP gas burner combined with a single induction burner, these options cater to the diverse cooking needs of RVers.
Suburban, known for its durability and efficiency in RV appliances, introduced the Elite Series 17” and 21” Air Fryer Oven/Range. This appliance combines a gas cooktop and an electric element for air frying, enabling RV owners to prepare meals with the precision and convenience typically found in residential kitchens.
Another featured appliance was Suburban’s 120V AC In-Wall Oven, which combines performance with a modern aesthetic through its stainless steel and black glass design. This oven offers multiple cooking modes, such as convection, grill, and thawing, catering to various culinary needs.
Suburban, headquartered in Dayton, Tennessee, has been a key player in the RV appliance market for over 75 years. Known for its expertise in RV water heaters, furnaces, and galley appliances, Suburban joined the Airxcel family in 1998.
Airxcel, based in Wichita, Kansas, oversees the development and distribution of these innovations. The company has 18 brands and 15 facilities across the U.S. and Europe.
