Go RVing brought together 10 outdoor adventure content creators at the inaugural Go RVing Creator Summit in Colorado as part of an effort to introduce RV travel experiences to new audiences through creator-generated content.
The summit, held last month at Sun Outdoors Rocky Mountains, gave participating creators the opportunity to experience RVing, learn from industry representatives and participate in outdoor recreation activities.
The program was designed to encourage authentic storytelling about the RV lifestyle across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and Substack.
The content created through the program is intended to reach 4.1 million outdoor adventurers and potentially introduce RV ownership to consumers through relatable experiences shared by trusted creators.
“The strongest creator content comes from genuine experiences, and that’s exactly what the Creator Summit was designed to provide,” Monika Geraci, Go RVing spokesperson, said in a News and Insights report of RVIA.
“By immersing creators in the RV lifestyle and giving them the freedom to explore Colorado in their own way, they were able to authentically capture how RVing brings you closer to adventure while offering the comforts of home. The result is inspiring content that resonates with millions of outdoor adventurers considering an RV trip of their own,” Geraci added.
Following the event, published creator content has generated engagement through comments, likes, saves and shares by highlighting RV travel experiences and the accessibility of using an RV while participating in outdoor activities.
Featured content included posts from Lacey Spalding titled “me + you + Colorado + an RV,” and content from Dan Bernstein, known as “Dan Outdoors,” including a post titled “POV: most people don’t realize how loud life is.” Bernstein also published “July’s Trails: A Hop, Skip, and Jump to Colorado’s Rocky Mountain National Park.”
Trevor and Riley Hykes, known as “Hiking With the Hykes,” shared content focused on their first RV camping experience and asked followers who they would want to share a similar trip with.
The Creator Summit was designed to use creator partnerships to increase awareness and consideration of RV travel by showing audiences how RVs can support.
