RVDA to Host Aug. 5 Webinar on Lithium Battery Technology for RV Dealerships

The RV Dealers Association will host a live webinar on Aug. 5 to help dealership staff better understand lithium battery technology as more recreational vehicle manufacturers make lithium batteries standard equipment and customer questions about the technology increase.

The 30-minute webinar, titled “Selling the Future – How Lithium Batteries Are Powering the Modern RV,” is scheduled for 2 p.m. Eastern and will feature Wade Seaburg, chief commercial officer of Dragonfly Energy, maker of Battle Born Batteries.

The session is designed for dealership employees working in sales, parts, service and management.

According to RVDA, the webinar will focus on helping dealerships address technical questions from customers, improve sales conversations and prepare for the growing number of lithium-equipped RVs entering the market.

“Today’s RV buyers have more questions than ever about lithium battery technology, and they expect dealerships to have the answers,” Phil Ingrassia, president of RVDA, said. “This webinar will give dealers practical knowledge they can use immediately—from improving showroom conversations to supporting customers long after the sale.”

During the webinar, Battle Born Batteries experts will discuss how the rapid adoption of lithium batteries is changing the RV ownership experience and examine common customer questions about the technology.

Presenters also will outline sales strategies for communicating the value of lithium-powered RVs, along with service, warranty and support considerations dealerships should understand.

The session also will examine steps dealerships can take to prepare for future changes in RV electrical systems as lithium battery technology becomes more widely adopted across the industry.

The webinar is intended to provide dealer-focused guidance that staff can apply across multiple departments as lithium-powered RVs become increasingly common.

The webinar is part of RVDA’s ongoing “Help Me Solve…” educational series, which connects dealerships with industry experts to address operational and technical challenges through practical training sessions.

RVDA is the national association representing RV retailers across the United States.
