Airxcel Brings New Range of RV Exterior Products to 2024 OEM Showcase in Wichita

Airxcel, a provider of RV components, launched a range of new products designed to enhance RV exteriors at its 2024 OEM New Product Showcase in Wichita, Kansas, on October 24.

The showcase featured offerings from its brands Cleer Vision, Velarium, Suburban, and Dicor, each aiming to improve durability, style, and convenience for RV users. Airxcel’s president and CEO, Anthony Wollschlager, emphasized the company’s commitment to addressing the comprehensive needs of RV owners by expanding product lines and refining existing ones.

According to a press release, Cleer Vision, part of Airxcel’s brand portfolio, introduced its latest compartment doors featuring single-handed accessibility and a design ensuring a tight seal through three points of contact. These doors, made from composite material by Vixen Composites, are customizable to match various RV exteriors and meet OEM specifications.

In addition to doors, Cleer Vision displayed its Cleer View Frameless Window System, complete with the Vista Trim Collection. This system offers the largest unobstructed opening window in the market and incorporates a single-point operation, which does not intrude into the RV’s interior space.

Dicor, another key brand under Airxcel, also showcased an improved version of its 502 self-leveling lap sealant. Reformulated to offer faster curing times and improved performance, this sealant is engineered to seal roof fixtures, vents, and edges. The product is compatible with multiple RV roof materials, including rubber, fiberglass, TPO, and PVC.

Velarium, which specializes in awning systems and accessories, introduced several new products, including its Awning Roller Assembly Light Rail. This integrated solution simplifies the installation process by combining the canopy, LED lighting, and a mounting channel into a single unit. Velarium also showcased an aluminum awning wrap designed to protect RV awnings from damage and severe weather when retracted.

Further expanding its product line, Velarium presented new lighting options, such as a waterproof COB LED Strip Light and an LED RGB Strip Light with an RF remote.

Suburban, another brand in the Airxcel family, revealed a redesigned step offering featuring lightweight composite stair treads available in various configurations. The steps are available in 2-, 3-, and 4-step options with hydraulic lift assistance, providing durability and ease of use.

Additionally, Velarium introduced a lateral arm box awning specifically designed for Class B RV units that require compact head clearance solutions. This product aims to provide flexibility for smaller RV models while maintaining the quality and convenience associated with Airxcel’s offerings.
