Bredon View Glamping Retreats, a family-run glamping business near Pershore, Worcestershire, has been named a joint winner on Channel 4’s hospitality competition Four in a Bed, alongside The Manor at Bickley.
The recognition comes less than three years after Jo and Dan Kelly opened Bredon View in December 2023. The couple established the business after leaving careers in the corporate events industry and relocating to Worcestershire during the COVID-19 pandemic. They subsequently converted a 10-acre rural property into a glamping operation.
Mr. and Mrs. Kelly told Worcester News: “We’re absolutely over the moon with our Four in a Bed win.
“Taking part was an incredible experience, and to come away as joint winners means so much to us.
“We’ve poured our hearts and souls into creating Bredon View, so having the opportunity to showcase what we’ve built on national TV has been amazing.
“We never imagined when we started this journey that we’d end up on Channel 4.
“We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved, hugely grateful to everyone who has supported us along the way, and hope the programme inspires even more people to come and experience our little slice of the Worcestershire countryside for themselves.”
The Four in a Bed episode featuring Bredon View was broadcast on Wednesday, September 16. Filming took place in June 2025 and included an activity at Aztec Adventure in Lower Moor, which Bredon View selected as its guest experience during the competition.
A spokesperson for Aztec Adventures said: “We were the experience that Bredon View Glamping chose to show off to their guests – and it made for a brilliant afternoon.”
The television appearance adds to a series of recent awards and recognition for the glamping business. Bredon View was named Camping, Glamping and Holiday Park of the Year at the Visit Worcestershire Tourism Awards 2025/26.
The business also received a silver award at the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2026, where it was identified as the highest-ranked dedicated glamping site in England.
For outdoor hospitality operators, Bredon View’s progression illustrates how a relatively new site can build visibility through a combination of tourism awards, guest experiences and national media exposure. The business opened in December 2023, meaning its appearance on Four in a Bed came within its first two years of operation.
The television exposure may also provide an additional marketing channel for the site, while its selection of a local kayaking provider demonstrates how partnerships with nearby attractions and activity businesses can form part of a guest experience and help connect a glamping operation with the wider local tourism economy.
