Greenway Touring and Glamping Park in Craven Arms has been recognized at the 2024 Campsites.co.uk Camping and Glamping Awards, securing two regional honors for the West Midlands.
The park was awarded Best Caravan Park and Best Adult-Only Campsite, earning praise for its peaceful setting in the Corvedale Hills and its commitment to guest satisfaction. According to Campsites.co.uk, 98 percent of guests recommend the site.
The owners of Greenway Touring and Glamping Park told the Shropshire Star that they aim to provide a quiet, child-free environment where guests can relax and unwind.
They highlighted the park’s rural location, emphasizing opportunities for wildlife observation and sustainability initiatives, such as recycling facilities for glass, tins, plastics, paper, and food waste.
They also noted the site’s proximity to a train station in Craven Arms, which is a five-minute drive away, making it a convenient base for exploring Shropshire’s attractions.
Guests have praised the park for its tranquility and suitability as a base for exploring the region, with one describing it as “a perfect little spot” and another calling it “one of the best places we’ve stayed at.”
Other Shropshire locations were also recognized at the awards. Colemere Caravan Park in Ellesmere was named runner-up for Best Adult-Only Campsite, School Farm Holidays in Cressage received the runner-up spot for Best Glamping Site, and Willenhall Way in Welshampton was runner-up for Best Campsite in the West Midlands.
Greenway Touring and Glamping Park provides accommodations ranging from tent pitches to equipped glamping pods. The site features modern amenities, including a shower block, and promotes eco-friendly practices.
While dogs are welcome, they must remain on leashes, and electric vehicle charging is not available on-site, with the nearest facilities located in Craven Arms.
The Campsites.co.uk awards aim to celebrate excellence in camping, glamping, and touring across the UK, with this year’s recognition highlighting Shropshire as a destination for outdoor hospitality.
