Bredon View Glamping Retreats near Pershore, Worcestershire, is set to appear on Channel 4’s hospitality competition Four in a Bed from September 14 to 18, 2026, with the family-run glamping business scheduled to feature on Wednesday, September 16.
Owned and operated by Jo and Dan Kelly, Bredon View opened in December 2023 after the couple left careers in the corporate events industry and relocated to Worcestershire in 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic. They subsequently transformed approximately 10 acres of countryside into a glamping retreat.
The appearance on Four in a Bed will give the business an opportunity to present its accommodation and local area to a national television audience. The program brings together B&B owners and operators of alternative accommodations, who stay at one another’s properties, assess their experiences, and determine how much they would pay for each stay. The competition concludes with a final payment day and the announcement of a winner.
During filming at Bredon View, which took place in June 2025, the participating businesses also took part in a kayaking challenge at Aztec Adventure in Lower Moor.
Jo Kelly told Worcester News: “We’ve been keeping this secret for a very long time, so it feels slightly surreal that we can finally talk about it.
“Taking part in Four in a Bed was such a brilliant experience.
“We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve created at Bredon View and it was a lovely opportunity to show not only the retreat, but our little corner of Worcestershire, to people across the country.”
The television appearance follows recognition for Bredon View through regional and national tourism award programs. The retreat won Camping, Glamping and Holiday Park of the Year at the Visit Worcestershire Tourism Awards 2025/26 and received a silver award at the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2026. The awards recognition made Bredon View the highest-ranked dedicated glamping site in England in that competition.
For glamping operators, the development illustrates how relatively new properties can combine accommodation positioning, regional tourism promotion, and industry recognition to build visibility. Bredon View’s television appearance also places its business story within a broader destination-marketing strategy, as the operators are hoping to encourage visitors to explore Pershore and Worcestershire in addition to staying at the retreat.
The Four in a Bed episodes will air at 5 p.m. each weekday from Monday, September 14 through Friday, September 18, 2026. Bredon View’s episode will air Wednesday, September 16.
Kelly said the program could help generate additional interest in the area and the business.
“We filmed the episodes back in June last year, so we’ve had quite a wait to see them.
“We’re excited, slightly nervous and will probably be watching from behind the sofa.”
She added: “Hopefully the programme gives people another reason to come and see it for themselves.”
