Caravan Industry National Conference Set for May 2027 on Gold Coast

The Caravan Industry National Conference will return from May 11-14, 2027, bringing together caravan and camping industry professionals at RACV Royal Pines Resort on Australia’s Gold Coast.

The four-day event is expected to attract more than 1,100 delegates and over 130 exhibitors and sponsors. The conference program will include networking opportunities, industry discussions, research presentations, professional development sessions, and an exhibition showcasing businesses and services across the sector.

Registration is scheduled to open Friday, November 27, 2026. Organizers are also planning a limited-time promotional offer, the Friday Frenzy Sale, running from November 27-30. During the sale, attendees can receive 50% off conference registration, subject to the offer’s terms and availability.

Those who register during the promotional period will also receive early access to accommodation bookings beginning Tuesday, December 1, ahead of the general release. The early booking opportunity may be relevant for operators and suppliers planning to attend as part of larger teams or coordinating travel around the conference schedule.

The program will begin Tuesday, May 11, with the opening of the trade exhibition, the start of conference sessions, and a Welcome Cocktail Party. On Wednesday, May 12, activities will include a Research Breakfast, plenary and breakout sessions, the trade exhibition, and a Casual Conference Dinner.

Thursday, May 13, will feature an Investment Breakfast, additional plenary and breakout sessions, and the closing of the exhibition. The day’s program will also include an afternoon barbecue, followed by the Gala Dinner and Awards. On Friday, May 14, delegates will have opportunities to participate in a Golf Day, masterclasses, and professional development activities.

RACV Royal Pines Resort will serve as the main venue, providing indoor and outdoor exhibition facilities. The resort is located on the Gold Coast, a destination with an established tourism and accommodation sector. Conference accommodation rates will also be available at the nearby Mercure Resort and Elite Hotel. Shuttle buses are scheduled to operate between the three properties from Tuesday through Friday.

For caravan park owners, campground operators, RV businesses, manufacturers, and suppliers, the conference provides an opportunity to engage with industry peers, assess developments affecting the sector, and establish relationships with potential business partners. The combination of research presentations, investment discussions, trade exhibitions, and professional development sessions may also provide insights into operational priorities, consumer demand, and emerging business opportunities.

The event’s scale, with more than 1,100 expected delegates and 130-plus exhibitors and sponsors, also offers participating businesses an opportunity to connect with decision-makers across different segments of the caravan and camping market.

Organizers acknowledged the continued support of sponsors and exhibitors, noting their contribution to delivering the National Conference and supporting the wider caravan and camping industry.

With registration opening November 27, 2026, prospective attendees can plan their participation ahead of the May 2027 event and take advantage of the promotional registration period.
