Brook Meadow Expands 2026 Wellness Programme with Sauna, Wild Swimming and Trail Runs

Brook Meadow, a family-run camping and glamping destination located on the border of Northamptonshire and Leicestershire, has announced an expanded wellness programme for 2026 that will include sauna sessions, wild swimming, lakeside yoga and guided countryside trail runs.

The business, which offers lodge stays, glamping accommodation, camping and caravanning alongside amenities such as a cowshed cinema and children’s outdoor activities, said the initiative builds on the popularity of similar events held last year.

The site is operated by Claire Hart and her parents, Mary and Jasper. The farm has been in the family since Claire’s grandfather took it over in the early 1900s, with Jasper inheriting it at the age of one.

After studying at an agricultural college and marrying, Mary and Jasper began farming in their early twenties. In 1990, they constructed a five-acre lake at the centre of the farm, repositioning the property as a destination venue. Since then, accommodation and facilities, including long-standing log cabins, have undergone upgrades.

“We’ve reinvented camping with hotel-quality washrooms and traditional values to bring people back to nature,” Claire told the Chronicle & Echo. “We have a beautiful five-acre lake, pop-up food vans and the sweetest, family-oriented activities.

“We’re not a very commercial offering, with no clubhouse or entertainment, it’s all very lowkey. We amplify relaxation by being in nature and add luxury with all the beautiful touches.”

For the 2026 season, Brook Meadow confirmed that Laura Mayfield and Wild Sauna Club will return to host sauna sessions, joined again by lakeside yoga led by Megan Gilbride.

New wild swimming slots are planned, with booking details to be released, and the business indicated it hopes to make the swimming offer available year-round.

Nicola Ash of La Fête Fleurie will provide a pop-up coffee service during selected wellness dates, serving artisan coffees, homemade bakes and a rum-infused hot chocolate.

Sauna sessions are scheduled to run from 5 pm to 8 pm on Fridays, 10 am to 4 pm on Saturdays, 9 am to 2 pm on Sundays, and 9 am to 1 pm on Bank Holidays. Confirmed dates are May 22 to 24; July 3 to 5; July 10 to 12; July 17 to 19; July 24 to 26; July 31 to August 2; August 7 to 9; August 14 to 16; August 21 to 23; August 28 to 30; and September 4 to 6. In addition, 2026 will see the introduction of guided countryside trail runs with Hollie Tidball, timed to allow participants to transition directly from a run to the lake or sauna.

The wellness facilities will be open not only to overnight guests but also to day visitors. The site has also added sun loungers and parasols to support the expanded programme.

For operators in the outdoor hospitality sector, Brook Meadow’s approach reflects a broader strategy of layering structured wellness programming onto existing accommodation assets.

By partnering with specialist providers and opening selected experiences to non-residents, the business is creating additional revenue streams while increasing midweek and shoulder-season engagement.

The set calendar of event weekends may also help drive advanced bookings and repeat visitation, offering a model for other parks and glamping sites assessing how to integrate wellness into their core offer without major infrastructure expansion.
