AGA to Examine AI’s Role in Glamping Guest Experience Sept. 9

The American Glamping Association (AGA) will host a virtual Lunch&Learn session Sept. 9 focused on how artificial intelligence is being used to reshape the guest journey in outdoor hospitality, from booking through repeat visits.

The session, titled “From Booking to Return Visit: Building a Peak Guest Experience with AI,” will feature Staylist and is scheduled for 1 p.m. Eastern time.

The session is part of the association’s September Lunch&Learn programming, which is designed to provide glamping operators with focused educational sessions led by industry experts.

The discussion will examine how AI can be used to personalize the guest experience beyond basic reservation communications, according to the session description. Topics will include how operators can use AI throughout the guest journey and how guest experience can connect with occupancy and revenue.

The Lunch&Learn will explore “what real personalization looks like beyond a first name in an email,” as well as why glamping operators may see the effects of changes in guest-experience technology across the booking and return-visit process.

The session also will address strategies for encouraging first-time guests to return. The discussion will focus on practical approaches operators can apply to their businesses and on identifying opportunities heading into the next season.

Participants are expected to gain a clearer understanding of AI-driven personalization for glamping operations, practical approaches for turning first-time guests into repeat visitors and a better understanding of the relationship between guest experience, occupancy and revenue.

The session is structured as a conversation that allows attendees to bring questions and discuss what is currently working for operators, according to the association.

The event is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 9, with the start time of 1 p.m. Eastern time.

“Bring your questions. This session is built for real conversation about what’s actually working for operators today, and where the biggest opportunities are heading into next season,” the event’s details indicate.
