Conference season seems to linger this year with the return of several events—one of them being the Canadian Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo happening in March.
The outdoor hospitality industry saw a healthy amount of highs and lows during the pandemic. Although it experienced downs such as cancellation of trade shows and closing of businesses (which affected visitor numbers), it also experienced the upside such as record-breaking RV sales, full bookings, and more.
Through the three-day event, the Canadian Camping & RV Council (CCRVC) will offer tools to guide its members through the persisting challenges, may it be handling inexperienced guests or providing record-breaking reservation numbers and RV sales.
Even more good news? It’s going to be virtual, which means that the tools provided by the Canadian association at this year’s trade show will be within arm’s reach wherever you may be.
The 2022 Canadian Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo happening March 8 through 10, was produced through a partnership with CampCon. According to a release, the conference will allow the entire country to come together as one in a national trade show.
“We’re thrilled to have a chance to provide this exclusive education and networking opportunity for our campground owners across the country,” said CCRV Executive Director Shane Devenish, expressing his excitement for this year after last year’s success.
Building on the excitement, CCRVC announced that this year’s event will offer educational sessions, live video networking opportunities, interactive workshops, group discussions, and keynote speakers.
Suppliers from North America can also benefit from sponsorship opportunities and interactive booths to display their products and services to attendees.
“We’re looking forward to hosting a national event for the entire industry and can’t wait to meet with everyone on March 8, wherever they are,” said Shane Devenish.
There will also be awards and an auction to gather funds for the Canadian council’s causes, as per CCRVC Member Services Coordinator Cara Csizmadia.
Even though the COVID-19 pandemic has caused the cancellation of several RV shows and conferences, much to the dismay of the members of the camping and RV industry, it’s safe to say that conference season is regaining momentum, and it seems to carry on this year.
Campground owners and industry professionals who want to attend the conference can register here.
