Friday Trailer Co to Debut New Teardrop Camper At The Let’s Go Caravan and Camping Show

The Australia-based company Friday Trailer Co. will debut its new teardrop camper at 2022 Let’s Go Caravan and Camping Show at the Adelaide Showground from July 27-31.

The new teardrop model features a traditional design with a rear lift-up kitchen area, side doors and windows, storage cupboards, and a double mattress, according to a report.

The compact, lightweight campers will be custom-built at a workshop in the foothills of Adelaide, including extensive use of baltic birch for the crafted wood cabinetry around the sleeping and kitchen areas.

Friday Trailer Co is one of around 50 RV brands on display at the Adelaide show and more than 100 exhibitor sites showcasing some of the latest caravans, campers and motorhomes, along with RV-related accessories and services.

The show will also have free seminars at the Wayville Entertainment Stage, covering Outback communications, camp cooking with a Thermomix, and safer towing.

Other on-site entertainment includes Outback Classroom educational workshops for the kids, with classes on Aboriginal art, stargazing, basket weaving, and bush survival.

Showgoers also have the chance to win prizes, including a AU$500 fuel card and a canoe adventure in the Big Lap competition.

2022 Let’s Go Caravan and Camping Show will take place at the Adelaide Showgrounds from July 27 to 31, 10 AM-5 PM. Tickets cost AU$18 for adults and AU$16 for concessions, while children under 16 can go to the show for free.

I’m concerned about the camper’s weight due to its traditional design and extensive use of baltic birch. Will it include eco-friendly features?
