Eurocamp, hu Openair Open Bookings for New Venice-Area Resort Set to Feature Holiday Village Water Park

Eurocamp has partnered with hu Openair to launch a new holiday resort near Venice, with bookings now open for stays beginning in May 2027 at the forthcoming hu Eraclea Mare holiday village.

The project expands an existing partnership between the two outdoor holiday providers. Eurocamp already offers holidays at several hu Openair destinations in Italy, including hu Altomincio Village near Lake Garda and hu Norcenni Girasole Village in Tuscany.

The new resort is expected to feature what the companies describe as the largest water park of any holiday village in Italy. The water park will cover 9 hectares and include indoor and outdoor swimming pools, multiple waterslides and a large solarium area.

Located within the 370-acre Valle Ossi Rural and Regional Tourist Park, hu Eraclea Mare is being developed with a focus on outdoor recreation and access to natural surroundings. The site will include pine forests, 10 kilometers of cycling and pedestrian paths, and accommodation pitches throughout the property.

The resort will also provide direct access to a Blue Flag-awarded beach and offer a range of recreational facilities. Planned amenities include sports facilities, mini golf, paintball, a treetop adventure course and more than 30 food and beverage outlets.

Evening entertainment will be centered around a 1,500-seat outdoor theater, according to information released by the companies.

The development is situated near the Adriatic coastal destinations of Jesolo and Caorle and will provide access to transportation links serving Venice.

When the resort opens, Eurocamp said it will feature the newest accommodation portfolio available across its holiday parks. More than 500 holiday homes are planned, spanning the company’s Comfort, Premium and Ultimate accommodation categories.

The holiday homes are designed to emphasize outdoor living and will include large terraces. According to Eurocamp, the accommodations will also feature outdoor showers alongside private indoor bathrooms.

Ross Matthews, chief marketing officer at Eurocamp, said the partnership with hu Openair will allow the company to offer customers a new resort in the Italian Adriatic, which he described as one of Eurocamp’s most popular destinations.

“We’re always looking for ways to elevate the outdoor holiday experience, and partnering with hu Openair will allow us to offer Eurocamp customers a truly exceptional resort in the Italian Adriatic – one of the most popular destinations for our customers,” Matthews said in a press release.

Matthews said the early launch of bookings gives travelers the opportunity to reserve 2027 holidays in advance and be among the first guests to stay at the new resort when it opens.

“And with a huge, record-breaking water park, outstanding facilities, a beautiful location and our most modern holiday homes yet, hu Eraclea Mare is set to be a flagship destination in the region,” Matthews said.
