American Glamping Association, ThinkReservations to Host June 10 Lunch & Learn on Hospitality Technology Strategy

The American Glamping Association and ThinkReservations will host a Lunch & Learn webinar on June 10, at 11:00 a.m. MST, featuring general manager Paul Robertson, who will share insights from the development and launch of two glamping destinations: Camp Roosevelt at The Ranch at Rock Creek and River Ranch at Westgate Resorts, as part of a scheduled Lunch & Learn session focused on the glamping sector.

The session is positioned around the role of hospitality technology in modern outdoor lodging operations, focusing on how technology functions as a strategic asset in the planning and operation of glamping properties rather than as a secondary administrative tool. It frames technology as part of early operational planning rather than a standalone support function in hospitality environments.

According to the program outline, Robertson will draw from a general manager’s perspective to examine operational decision-making in hospitality environments. The discussion will highlight why glamping operators are encouraged to integrate technology considerations into early-stage planning for property development and opening.

It also underscores the importance of aligning development decisions with operational needs identified at the general manager level.

Topics will include technology planning, operational readiness, guest experience design, and the role of digital systems in supporting long-term business performance.

The session emphasizes the integration of technology as a core infrastructure component for hospitality operations. These areas are presented as interconnected components supporting the opening and ongoing management of glamping properties.

Attendees are expected to gain practical insights into how technology planning influences day-to-day operations and guest-facing services. The webinar is also designed to outline considerations for aligning operational systems with broader business objectives in glamping and outdoor hospitality settings.

The discussion is structured to translate strategic concepts into practical applications for operators involved in property planning and management.

Participants are encouraged to RSVP in advance of the session date.
