RV Dealers Convention/Expo Expands Fixed Operations Day Schedule for 2026 Event

The 2026 RV Dealers Convention/Expo will feature an expanded Fixed Operations Day on Thursday, Nov. 12, focusing on practical strategies for service management, parts, and warranty teams.

The overall convention is scheduled for Nov. 9 through Nov. 13, at Paris Las Vegas. The event is presented by RVDA U.S., RVDA of Canada, and the Mike Molino RV Learning Center.

“Front-line fixed operations teams drive customer satisfaction and dealership profitability,” Phil Ingrassia, RVDA president, said. “Fixed Operations Day is an ideal way to provide these key employees the tools and insights they need to strengthen processes, improve communication, and deliver a better experience for RV owners.”

The Thursday schedule features targeted educational programming across multiple operational areas.

Rob Cochran will lead a session titled “From Check-In to Cash Flow: Fixing the Hidden Gaps in RV Service Operations,” which covers intake and inspection process gaps, documentation consistency, repair cycle times, and warranty challenges.

Sara Clements-Hey will present “Why Your Best Technicians Are Leaving, Why Pizza Won’t Fix It, and What Actually Will,” detailing a three-tier efficiency-based bonus plan for service management leaders.

Clements-Hey will also host a second session, “Amazon Isn’t Your Problem: Your Parts Strategy Is,” which provides an 18-item diagnostic “Parts Department Self-Assessment” scored on a 90-point scale.

Additionally, Jerry Weldon will present “Turning Fixed Operations Into a Profit Center: Practical Strategies to Improve RV Service Performance, Customer Experience, Staff Retention,” focusing on service and parts profit leaks, advisor communication, and staff recruitment.

Jordon Schoolmeester will host “Future-Proofing Your Service Department: Building and Retaining the Next Generation of Technicians,” covering entry-level training, mentorship, leadership transitions, compensation, and pricing strategies.

Fixed operations professionals can register for Thursday at a special rate of $389. Registration includes access to the full Thursday schedule, the Expo Hall, and dedicated education and Vendor Training +Plus sessions.
