Wyldstay Announces New Revenue Share Model to Expand Glamping Offerings

Wyldstay announced a revenue share model designed to benefit both property owners and operators. This approach allows landowners to convert their properties into luxury outdoor retreats without taking on the full financial and operational burdens.

The move is part of Wyldstay’s broader strategy to grow its footprint across the United States, starting with resorts in South Carolina and Georgia, with a new location at the Grand Canyon in Arizona on the horizon.

The revenue share model is a partnership where property owners provide the land and local expertise, while Wyldstay supplies the tents, brand recognition, and booking systems. These contributions are then reflected in how revenue is shared, which can vary from a simple revenue split to a joint venture where both parties co-own and manage the resort.

Wyldstay’s partnership model also brings the advantage of using Bushtec Safari tents, which are recognized for their durability and luxury.

“Revenue share models are gaining popularity because they align the interests of both parties. Landowners benefit from the expertise and financial backing of established operators like Wyldstay, while operators can expand without significant capital outlay,” a press release indicated.

Beyond the financial advantages, these partnerships provide a boost in brand recognition. Collaborating with an operator like Wyldstay can “elevate a property’s status in the glamping market.”

“This shared approach ensures that both parties are committed to maintaining high standards and attracting guests… Partnering with a well-known operator can elevate a property’s status, making it more appealing in the competitive glamping market,” the press release added.

In addition to its new revenue share model, WYLDSTAY announced the opening of its latest glamping destination in Greenville, South Carolina, with reservations available for summer 2024. The retreat spans 30 acres on a Highland cattle farm, offering a “tranquil escape” for couples, families, and friends seeking a blend of rustic charm and modern comforts.

The first phase of the retreat will include 10 luxurious Bushtec Safari tents and two Airstreams, each featuring queen-size beds, premium linens, and private decks with stunning views.
