Zion White Bison Resort Adopts Unified Platform to Streamline Glamping and RV Operations

Mews has been selected by Zion White Bison Resort to consolidate its property management systems and support operations across both its glamping accommodations and RV sites, according to information released by the company.

The resort, located near Zion National Park, has grown its offerings over the past five years to include luxury teepees, covered wagons, cliff dwellings, and more than 150 full-hookup RV spaces.

Prior to adopting the new system, the resort operated two separate property management platforms to handle its distinct accommodation types. This setup created operational inefficiencies and limited visibility across reservations, guest profiles, and performance metrics.

By implementing a single system, the resort aims to centralize these functions into one dashboard, allowing for more streamlined workflows and a more consistent guest experience.

“We’ve been searching for a system that could truly support both our glamping and RV operations for months,” Katelin Gollaher, CEO of Zion White Bison Resort, told HospitalityNet

“What stood out with Mews was not just the technology, but the strong customer support and the ability to bring everything into one place. Having a single booking engine and unified system will make a huge difference for both our team and our guests.”

The transition includes the adoption of integrated tools for group bookings and billing, as well as a redesigned booking interface intended to simplify the reservation process for guests selecting between accommodation types.

The property will also implement Flexkeeping, part of the Mews ecosystem, to manage housekeeping and maintenance tasks across more than 190 units. In addition, Atomize will be used to support pricing strategies, particularly for higher-yield glamping units.

“Zion White Bison is redefining what a modern resort can look like,” said Michael Coscetta, President of Mews. “By bringing glamping and RV operations into one system, they’re removing complexity, building a stronger foundation for growth, and giving both guests and staff a single, consistent experience from booking and check-in to on-site service and follow-up.”

For operators in the outdoor hospitality and RV sectors, the consolidation reflects a broader trend toward unified technology platforms that can accommodate mixed-use properties.

Managing multiple accommodation types under a single system can reduce administrative overhead, improve data accuracy, and support more dynamic pricing strategies. It also allows operators to better understand guest behavior across different stay formats, which can inform marketing and operational decisions.

Zion White Bison Resort, located at 400 UT-9 in Virgin, Utah, offers a range of amenities including an outdoor pool, laundry facilities, walking trails, pickleball courts, and a fishing pond.

The property also features an on-site bison sanctuary, with part of each reservation supporting preservation and education efforts. Looking ahead, the resort plans to expand its offerings and continue development, with the new system intended to support scalability without the limitations of managing multiple disconnected platforms.

Mews, which provides solutions across property management, point-of-sale, revenue management, housekeeping, and payments, reported that its platform is used by more than 15,000 customers across 85 countries. The company has received multiple recognitions from Hotel Tech Report between 2024 and 2026, including Best PMS and Best POS awards.
