Canopy Luxury RV Resort, set to open later this spring in New Braunfels, Texas promises a unique blend of comfort and community for both long-term residents and short-term vacationers.
Nestled within a picturesque old pecan orchard, Canopy Luxury RV Resort will offer an array of amenities designed to cater to a diverse clientele.
Guests can expect paved roads, concrete pad picnic areas, Wi-Fi throughout the resort, pickleball courts, a large pool, laundry facilities, an on-site convenience store, a 6,000-square foot clubhouse with a full kitchen, grand room, and dining room, and much more.
Additionally, a greenbelt runs along the length of the RV resort, with most of the spaces being against the greenbelt areas.
For the past five years, a trio of dedicated business partners—Dick McCaleb, Brian Brady, and Mark Bauer—has been tirelessly working to bring this innovative resort to life.
McCaleb, who grew interested in RVs after noticing the full capacity of many Texas RV parks, partnered with his longtime associates Brady and Bauer, who had experience in the industrial and retail industries, respectively.
Together, they conducted a comprehensive market study of RV parks in Austin, San Marcos, San Antonio, and New Braunfels.
This research, coupled with the understanding that more people are using RVs as their primary living spaces, informed the resort’s design.
Recognizing the significant changes in RV quality and size over the past decade, the Canopy team wanted to create a comfortable and welcoming environment for all types of RV users.
To accommodate guests with different needs, Canopy will feature designated areas for long-term residents and short-term visitors.
McCaleb explained that the resort’s RV spaces will be split, so those who may be staying in the resort long term will be able to be around people who are also staying long term, and those who may be staying in the resort for a few days will park around those in a similar situation. In terms of the resort’s impact on private campground owners and operators in the nearby area, Canopy Luxury RV Resort may attract a larger segment of the market seeking upscale amenities and a sense of community.
This could lead to increased competition for high-end RV clientele and inspire other campground owners to upgrade their facilities to remain competitive.
Located at 1160 Lakeside Pass in New Braunfels, Canopy Luxury RV Resort is poised to offer a new level of comfort and convenience for RV travelers.
McCaleb expressed confidence in the quality of the resort, stating that it will be “the nicest resort in this area of Texas” and that guests will appreciate their attention to detail.
As the resort prepares to open its doors, both RV adventurers and those seeking a home on wheels have much to look forward to.
