The Camp Fimfo concert series is set to return to Waco, Texas, this October, promising an exciting two-day country music festival. The festival’s return marks its third fall edition.
Scheduled for October 11 to October 12, the event will feature an impressive lineup of country music stars, including Travis Tritt, Chris Lane, A Thousand Horses, Hannah Dasher, and Kody West.
Tickets for the Camp Fimfo Concert Series will be sold on July 11 at 9:00 am CST. Fans can purchase single-day and two-day festival passes, as well as weekend accommodations, on the official event website, CampFimfoCampout.com.
Attendees who choose to stay on-site will have access to Camp Fimfo Waco’s full range of amenities, including a resort-style pool, a water playground, pickleball courts, and more.
The festival promises exceptional music performances and a comprehensive camping experience. Camp Fimfo Waco highlighted the events at the concert series.
“Camp Fimfo Waco invites the public to join them on-site for a free kick-off party on Thursday evening, October 10, at Squirrely’s Tavern. The party will feature live music, specials, and more fun,” Camp Fimfo’s press release indicated.
During the peak season from May 24 to August 17, Camp Fimfo Waco offers many amenities to enhance the camping experience. Guests can enjoy a spacious, heated resort pool with a volleyball net and basketball hoops, as well as a swim-up bar at the No Dive Bar.
For sports enthusiasts, there are pickleball and tennis courts, a basketball court, and a sand volleyball court. The campground also boasts an 18-hole mini-golf course, a spa tub for relaxation, and various yard games.
Another aspect of the park is accommodations. Camp Fimfo Waco offers a range of accommodations to suit different camping preferences. The Riverside Red Carpet Back-In RV sites provide close proximity to the Bosque River.
It also features full hook-ups with 30/50 amp electric, a concrete pad, a charcoal grill, a fire ring, and a picnic table. These pet-friendly sites make setup easy and include complimentary Wi-Fi and cable for convenience.
For a more traditional camping experience, the Rustic Tent sites allow guests to pitch their tents in a scenic outdoor setting. While these sites do not include water or electricity, they have a picnic table, fire ring, and charcoal grill. Complimentary Wi-Fi is also available, ensuring campers can stay connected even while enjoying the great outdoors.
Families seeking a more luxurious stay can opt for the Firewheel Cabins, which boast a prime riverside location along the Bosque River. These cabins can accommodate up to 10 people and include a variety of sleeping arrangements, a kitchen, and a private bathroom.
Each cabin has a charcoal grill, picnic table, and fire ring and features custom design elements like large windows and high ceilings for plenty of natural light.
