These new products, introduced as part of StorageDefender’s expanded portfolio, offer a mobile monitoring system that operates both on storage sites and in transit, creating additional revenue opportunities for dealerships.

According to a press release, the company’s goal, as communicated by CEO Mark Cieri, is to “listen to our partners and advance smart solutions for self-storage and beyond.”
With real-time monitoring, RVDefender and MarineDefender ensure seamless connectivity, giving owners and operators a flexible, text-based interface for communication. Unlike traditional app-based solutions, these devices use an SMS-based system to facilitate monitoring, providing an easy-to-use platform that simplifies vehicle oversight for customers.
These smart solutions also feature VisualVerify technology, a proprietary function of StorageDefender, enabling image verification for added security. RVDefender and MarineDefender also offer geo-tracking to monitor vehicle movement, further bolstering the security capabilities of these smart devices.
An integrated web management portal allows operators to monitor and manage devices through a centralized system, supporting the third-generation platform developed by StorageDefender.
In addition to the web management portal, a long battery life ensures that RVDefender and MarineDefender can function independently for extended periods, reducing maintenance needs for users.
