RVDA has launched the 2024 Dealer Satisfaction Index (DSI) survey. Dealers in the United States and Canada have until September 11 to evaluate the manufacturers and brands of their retail products.
The DSI survey, now in its 30th year, focuses on four key areas: reliability and quality, parts support, warranty support, and sales support. Dealers are encouraged to provide honest feedback to drive industry improvements.
Phil Ingrassia, president of RVDA, highlighted the importance of dealer participation in the survey, emphasizing that the DSI is a confidential survey designed to measure dealers’ satisfaction with their manufacturers in critical areas.
“It is more important than ever for dealers to provide feedback to manufacturers through the DSI survey as the industry works to improve the overall customer experience with RV travel,” Ingrassia said in a press release.
In addition to the DSI survey, the Mike Molino RV Learning Center has introduced a new online course for warranty administrators. This course aims to help dealers and fixed operations professionals meet the needs of modern customers.
The covers various aspects of warranty administration, including processing RV repair orders, handling warranty claims, managing payments, maintaining customer and manufacturer/supplier relations, and checking in new units.
All course materials are structured around the RV warranty job and task analysis developed by Ohio State University’s Center on Education and Training for Employment in collaboration with RV industry experts organized by the RV Learning Center.
Completing the course equips experienced fixed operations personnel to prepare for the RV Learning Center’s warranty administrator certification. To qualify for certification, candidates must have at least one year of experience as a warranty administrator or in a related role, submit a certification application with a $199 fee, and pass a timed online exam.
Students enrolling by November 30 have until December 31 to complete the course.
