RV Women’s Alliance Ushers in a New Era with Patricia Carrera as New Managing Director

The RV Women’s Alliance (RVWA), a prominent organization dedicated to the upliftment of women in the RV industry, has recently announced the appointment of Patricia Carrera as their new managing director.

This decision marks a significant milestone in the Alliance’s journey, as Patricia, also known as Trish, brings with her a wealth of experience in association management, strategic leadership, and program development.

Trish’s professional journey is a testament to her commitment to promoting women in industries where they are traditionally underrepresented. Her recent tenure as the managing director for Professional Education at the American Diabetes Association saw her leading the planning and execution of the Association’s annual conferences.

This role required a blend of strategic thinking, program development, and marketing acumen, skills that will undoubtedly benefit the RVWA, as per the News & Insights report of the RV Industry Association.

The Alliance’s mission revolves around educating, elevating, and promoting women in the RV sector. Under the leadership of the previous managing director, Jessica Rider, the organization has made remarkable strides.

Jessica’s operational expertise and collaboration with the Board of Directors have set a strong foundation for the Alliance’s future endeavors.

As Trish steps into her new role, she will be assisted by Jessica Rider to ensure a smooth transition. This collaborative approach underscores the organization’s commitment to continuity and growth.

The RV Women’s Alliance also plans to host an Open House Breakfast on September 26, providing an opportunity for members and industry partners to interact with Trish and acknowledge Jessica’s contributions.

The RV industry, like many others, has witnessed a paradigm shift in recent years with a growing emphasis on diversity and inclusion. The appointment of Patricia Carrera is a reflection of this change. With her at the helm, the RVWA is poised to scale new heights and further its mission of empowering women in the industry.

The RVWA’s decision to bring Patricia Carrera on board as the new managing director is a promising step towards a brighter future. Her vast experience, combined with the organization’s vision, is bound to usher in a new era of growth and innovation.
