The RV Technical Institute (RVTI) is gearing up to extend its range of advanced training workshops for RV technicians into 2024, with the announcement of four additional Level 3 courses.
Situated in Elkhart, the curriculum for Level 3 courses is designed to delve into advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs, encompassing five key systems: electrical, chassis, slide-out, electronics, and appliances.
According to a press release, the forthcoming workshops are slated as follows: the Level 3 Chassis Specialty workshop is scheduled for June 4 to June 5, with registration opening on April 23; the Level 3 Slide Out Specialty workshop is set for July 9 to July 10, with registration beginning on May 28; the Level 3 Electronic Specialty workshop is planned for September 17 to September 28, with registration opening on August 6; and the Level 3 Appliance Specialty workshop is scheduled for December 4 to December 6, with registration starting on October 23.
Participants who complete any of these training sessions will be awarded the Level 3 specialty certification in the respective area. Those who secure certification across all five training categories will be eligible for the Level 4 Master Certification.
Recognizing the potential barriers that might prevent some technicians from participating in these in-person workshops, the RVTI also offers Level 3 courses through its network of authorized suppliers throughout the year. This approach allows for accessibility, ensuring that a larger number of technicians can pursue advanced skills.
Technicians who have undergone training and achieved certification through the RVTI are prepared to offer maintenance and repair services.
The interactive and skill-focused curriculum is structured into four distinct certification tiers, encompassing both theoretical knowledge and practical application, specialized training, and advanced problem-solving techniques. Each successive level of training expands upon the learnings from the preceding tier, enabling you to develop the essential skills required to excel as an RV service technician.
