The Outdoor Recreation Roundtable (ORR) has announced the panel of speakers that will join the webinar on “Diverse Career Paths in the Recreation Economy.”
The panel will discuss the value of careers in the outdoors and outstanding job opportunities across the $689 billion outdoor recreation economy, as per the News & Insights report of the RV Industry Association.
The panel moderator will be Oregon State University Center for the Outdoor Recreation Economy Executive Director Lee Davis.
He will be joined by Maryland State Office of Outdoor Recreation Director Daryl Anthony, Continental Divide Trail Coalition Executive Director Teresa Martinez, RV Technical Institute Level 3 Technician Tim Scott, Lift Maintenance Technician Alicia Smith, and Mt. Bachelor.
Attendees can also learn about ORR’s new digital outdoor career path resource and preview a recent cross-industry survey of outdoor executives on the jobs and skills expected in candidates and efforts to expand diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the outdoor workforce.
