Newbook has launched its Emerging Leaders Scholarship, offering three industry professionals the chance to attend the Florida & Alabama Outdoor Hospitality Convention & Expo in Orlando.
The program is designed to support individuals in the outdoor hospitality sector who are seeking growth opportunities but may lack access to industry resources.
Scholarship recipients will receive travel assistance, accommodations, full conference access, and opportunities to network with industry leaders and the Newbook team.
The program aims to provide exposure to trends, best practices, and leadership development within the outdoor hospitality field.
Eligible applicants include frontline staff, managers, operators, and other emerging leaders who demonstrate a commitment to the industry and an interest in professional development. The scholarship is intended to help participants “learn, grow, and lead” while enhancing their understanding of industry operations and networking opportunities.
Applicants must submit a short video and written responses outlining their background, passion for outdoor hospitality, and how the scholarship would support their growth. The application process is intended to identify individuals who show promise and dedication to advancing the sector.
Newbook emphasized that the scholarship is not limited to specific roles or experience levels. “This is a meaningful opportunity for frontline team members, managers, operators, and other emerging leaders who are passionate about the future of our industry,” the announcement adds.
The Florida & Alabama Outdoor Hospitality Convention & Expo provides attendees with exposure to industry trends, education sessions, and connections with suppliers and operators.
Applications for the scholarship close on April 12. Newbook encourages members to nominate standout team members or rising talent within their organizations for consideration.
“We encourage our members to share this opportunity with standout team members and rising talent across their organizations,” the announcement states.
