Postle Aluminum has reorganized its operations to bring extrusion, fabrication, finishing and warehousing under an integrated structure designed to streamline aluminum sourcing and delivery for OEMs, distributors and fabricators.
The reorganization will connect functions that previously operated separately, with the goal of simplifying customer interactions, shortening lead times, improving quality consistency and streamlining logistics.
Under the new structure, customers can source aluminum profiles through a single operation spanning extrusion, fabrication, finishing, warehousing and delivery.
The model is intended to improve its ability to respond to market needs while providing complete manufacturing solutions.
“This reorganization is about harnessing the collective strengths of our teams and resources,” said Mark Smith, Postle president.
“By integrating extrusion, fabrication, finishing, and warehousing, we are creating a seamless experience for our customers and investing in the future of aluminum manufacturing,” Smith added.
The realignment is also intended to improve coordination among its teams and resources across the production process. Postle characterized the changes as part of its ongoing efforts to improve efficiency and customer service.
The integrated model covers the company’s capabilities from aluminum extrusion through downstream processing and distribution, allowing OEMs, distributors and fabricators to work with one provider across multiple stages of production.
Postle Aluminum has operated in the aluminum extrusion industry since 1974 and is based in Elkhart.
The reorganization comes as Postle expands the role of those capabilities within a single operating structure. The company said the approach is intended to provide customers with a more connected process while maintaining quality and efficiency throughout production.
