Guests at Collective Governors Island can enjoy various activities, such as self-guided two-wheel cruiser tours, hiking trails, public art installations, historical buildings and monuments exploration, New York’s longest slide, lawn and board games, and daily yoga.
Visitors can also participate in daily on-retreat activities, including wine and beer tastings, live music, guided morning hikes, and charcuterie board crafting workshops.
Near the glamping tents, QC NY, an immersive European Spa that opened last year, offers guests a full-on getaway experience.
Overnight accommodations include three classic options with varying amenities and price points. Journey+ Tents, starting at $229 per night, are perfect for families with either a king or double bed configuration and two-bed add-on tents. These tents are strategically positioned for sunset watching.
For a more upscale experience, Summit Tents start at $429 and feature private en suite bathrooms and stunning island views.
The most luxurious option, Outlook Shelters, costs $639 a night and boasts temperature-controlled dwellings framed by two private terraces and an incredible view of the Statue of Liberty.
Later this summer, Collective Governors Island will introduce four new luxe accommodations: the Summit Tent King, Outlook Villa King, Outlet Shelter King, and Outlook Liberty Suite.
Reservations are now available online, and while visiting, guests can also check out the island’s seasonal sheep landscaping crew.
