The Louisiana Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (LARVC) concluded its 2026 Annual Conference January 18–20 at L’Auberge Casino Hotel and Tiger’s Trail RV Resort, drawing owners, operators, and industry partners from across the state.
The three-day event provided education, networking, and strategic planning designed to strengthen Louisiana’s outdoor hospitality sector.
Attendees explored the latest campground technologies, operational strategies, and regulatory updates while connecting with peers and vendors.
This year’s conference featured a comprehensive schedule of workshops focused on campground management, reservation systems, guest relations, and legal compliance. Industry updates highlighted both state and national trends in RV travel, tourism, and outdoor recreation, giving attendees actionable insights to enhance park operations.

Exhibitors showcased products and services aimed at improving infrastructure, marketing, and technology integration, providing operators with practical solutions for everyday challenges.
Peer networking sessions allowed campground owners and managers to exchange ideas and discuss best practices, fostering collaboration across the state’s outdoor hospitality community.
“Our members are the backbone of Louisiana’s outdoor recreation economy,” Lisa Thibodaux, executive director of LARVC, said in a press release.
“This year’s conference highlighted the innovation, resilience, and community spirit that define our industry. We’re proud to bring everyone together to share knowledge and prepare for a strong year ahead,” Thibodaux added.

Industry participants praised the event for its educational value and collaborative atmosphere. Lisa Courtney, director of operations for Camp Jellystone, noted, “Thank you to you and the LARVC board for welcoming me to speak at your event. This was such a fun event, and I truly appreciate the time I spent with the campground owners in Louisiana.”
Gabriella Dupre, marketing specialist for Cajun Broadband, added, “The convention was lovely. We learned a lot that we had not known about what it takes to be involved in RV camp ownership and how our company can provide even more help.”
Planning for the 2027 Annual Conference is already underway, with details expected to be announced later this year.
