Four Points RV Resorts Acquires Lake Charles Site to Expand Jellystone Park Portfolio

Four Points RV Resorts announced its acquisition of LeBleu Lakes RV Resort in Lake Charles, Louisiana, marking the company’s fifth Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resort franchise. The conversion is slated for completion by the 2025 season, further solidifying Four Points’ presence in the family-friendly campground sector.

The Lake Charles property will reopen under the Jellystone Park brand with approximately 200 campsites by Memorial Day, eventually expanding to more than 350 sites.

Known for their themed attractions and family-focused activities, Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts offers pools, water slides, character interactions, and glamping-style accommodations. These campgrounds operate in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences and have over 75 locations across the United States and Canada.

Four Points CEO Sean Vidrine expressed enthusiasm about the transformation plans, emphasizing the significance of bringing the Jellystone Park brand to his hometown. “We’re excited to transform this park into a truly great campground and add it to our growing portfolio of Jellystone Park locations across the country.”

The Lake Charles location will undergo a series of major upgrades to align with the Jellystone Park brand’s offerings. “We are refurbishing all of the park’s water features, including its swimming pool, water slides, and splashground,” Vidrine said.

Plans also include adding a new resort-style pool with a tanning deck and a floating obstacle course on the park’s lake.

In addition to water-related attractions, Four Points will refurbish the miniature golf course and remodel the park store and cabins.

The property’s infrastructure will also be upgraded, with improvements to roads, water, sewer, and electrical connections. “We will also resurface all of the roads and upgrade all of the water, sewer, and electrical connections,” Vidrine said in a press release.

Four Points currently owns and operates seven campgrounds, including four Jellystone Park locations in Indiana, Pennsylvania, Iowa, and Illinois.
