The Cape Coral Boat Show & Outdoor Expo will return to the Cape Coral Art Festival on January 11-12, bringing a wide array of recreational vehicles, outdoor gear, and activities for attendees to explore.
The event, one of the highlights of Cape Coral’s annual festival season, aims to showcase the latest innovations in RV travel and outdoor living.
According to a press release, General RV, one of the nation’s largest RV dealers, will be a participant in the show. The dealership is set to display a dozen new travel trailers, motorhomes, and camper vans, providing attendees with an opportunity to view a diverse selection of models.
Since 2014, RV usage has seen a 94% increase, with both returning and new campers embracing outdoor adventures. The Cape Coral show aims to tap into this trend by presenting a comprehensive showcase of the latest RV models.
Millennials have also emerged as a key demographic in the RV market, with survey data showing that the average RV purchaser is around 33 years old. These buyers are often tech-savvy and environmentally conscious, seeking ways to balance adventure with sustainability.
A recent study also highlighted that families can save up to 60% on vacation costs by traveling in an RV. These savings include reduced expenses on accommodations and dining, making RV travel an attractive option for budget-conscious families.
In addition, the Florida RV SuperShow, scheduled to take place from January 15 to 19 at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa, will feature an extensive showcase by General RV Center, the nation’s largest family-owned RV dealership.
Attendees will be able to explore nearly 400 new motorhomes, travel trailers, and fifth wheels, with models catering to various travel preferences and lifestyles.
General RV’s participation in the SuperShow includes more than just vehicle displays. The dealership will offer exclusive first looks at new floorplans and models, providing attendees with insights into the latest RV design and functionality innovations.
Additionally, a parts store will be available for those seeking to upgrade or customize their RVs, and visitors can expect appearances from personalities in the RV community, including YouTube influencers who will share their experiences and tips on RV living.
