Sebastian City Council Approves New Luxury RV and Tiny Home Resort, Aiming to Transform Local Tourism

Sebastian City Council in Florida agreed to a new luxury RV and tiny home resort that will elevate local travelers’ RV experience and tourism, according to a local news report at Sebastian Daily.

The project, Open Spaces Luxury RV Resort and Tiny Homes, received unanimous approval. The resort will be established between Davis Street and Indian River Drive.

A unique feature of Open Spaces is the inclusion of several tiny homes within the resort, catering to both RV and non-RV travelers. Initially, the resort will accommodate a total of 13 pads for RVs and tiny homes.

Sebastian City offers unique wildlife and natural flora experiences. The parks showcase a serene environment where one can immerse oneself in the tranquility of nature. With 23 parks and facilities that span over 125 acres of developed parkland, along with 244 acres dedicated to nature preserves, the city provides ample space for recreation, relaxation, and environmental appreciation.

Nestled between the popular Squid Lips and Sebastian Saltwater Restaurant, Open Spaces is poised to improve short-term RV stays in the area. The development features full RV hookups and an amenity center. A significant aspect of the project is its connection to county sewer lines, a move that eliminates the need for septic tanks.

The city showcases the diverse array of parks. From competitive athletics at the city’s premier sports complex to community special events, there’s a wide range of activities to engage in.

Open Spaces is expected to offer a range of high-end amenities. These include high-speed internet access, advanced safety and security systems, an outdoor cooking area, and ample dining facilities. Additionally, visitors can expect on-site showers and laundry services.

City of Sebastian, Florida is a destination with unique activities for every family and adventurer, from tranquil hikes and exhilarating bike rides to refreshing swims. For the daring souls, Edward Ball Wakulla Springs State Park unveils a 22-foot dive tower into the invigorating embrace of one of the world’s largest and deepest freshwater springs.

For a unique perspective on Florida’s natural beauty, Myakka River State Park shows breathtaking views of the surrounding wetlands and prairies.
