For owners, operators, team members, and anyone else interested in camping, glamping, or the RV industry.

FRVCA Opens Registration for 2023 Florida and Alabama Outdoor Hospitality Conference and Expo

Calling all campground and RV park owners in Florida and Alabama: the Florida and Alabama RV Park and Campground Association (FRVCA) has opened the registration for the 2023 Florida and Alabama Outdoor Hospitality Conference and Expo to be held May in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Because the association believes it has “outgrown” the cozy venue, next year’s conference will be bigger than ever and will be held at the Daytona Beach Hilton Oceanfront Resort.

Boasting over 60,000 sqft. of indoor and outdoor meeting space overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the venue will serve as the association’s home for three days of learning and various opportunities.

“This is your best opportunity to learn about the industry, make valuable connections, meet with new and old friends and discover everything you need to know to develop, own, and operate a successful RV park business,” the association wrote in a member email sent yesterday.

Also new next year will be the Alan R. Wallace “Mark of Excellence” Award. In a member email sent by FRVCA in June, the group said that the award was created to honor members of the industry that have shown unwavering support and commitment to the improvement and growth of the association and the outdoor hospitality industry.

Happening May 9-11 in 2023, the event aims to treat attendees to three days of educational sessions, getting together, and more.

To those interested in attending, the conference value is already inclusive of all meals, sessions, and access to the expo.

The Things That Await

In business, numbers are of the essence, and if one were to quantify what one can get from attending the conference and expo, each attendee can expect 14 hours of educational content, three group discussions, two keynote addresses, two panel discussions, four meals, two receptions, and more.

There will also be an abundance of chow, drinks, and fun for everyone.

Networking is also important when running a business. At the 2023 Florida and Alabama Outdoor Hospitality Conference and Expo, those heading to Daytona Beach can count on great speakers, colleagues, and industry leaders that will be present.

Connections to be made are endless, and more things to learn include invaluable tips and ideas on how park owners can upgrade their campground and elevate their business.

Products and services that will benefit parks and help with the buying, development, and operation stages will also be heading to Daytona Beach to showcase their offerings at the expo.

According to FRVCA, the product expo will be featuring over 80 suppliers in the outdoor hospitality industry.

In June, the association reported a successful 2022 event which was also held in Daytona Beach, Florida. In a press release, FRVCA President & CEO Bobby Cornwell said that the show saw record attendance with over 355 people present for the three-day event.

Even though most of the parks that were present were from Florida and Alabama, the 2022 event also saw five Georgia parks as well as some from Virginia, Texas, and Michigan.
