The Glamping Show USA 2022 is in full throttle, and organizers have lined up another slate of seminars for attendees today, October 5. More networking opportunities and various experiences are also available before the event wraps up in the afternoon.
The conference begins early today with registration starting at 8:00 a.m. MT. Registered conference attendees will also dine together and fuel up for another busy day at 8:30 a.m.
Educational sessions will soon kick off with a seminar on influencer marketing spearheaded by Anne and Mike Howard of HoneyTrek.
In this session, HoneyTrek will share how operators can elevate their glamping business by connecting with the right influencers.
Soon after, Sage Outdoor Advisory will unveil The Sage USA Glamping Map & Data Report, which includes a detailed analysis of over 230 glamping businesses in the United States.
At 11:00 a.m., Kathleen Walsh of Advanced Outdoor Solutions will lead a session titled “New Technologies for The Outdoor Space” where she will discuss reservation systems, OTA (Online Travel Agent), and integrations. There will also be a question and answer session after.
Glamping business operators will also hear from a panel of experts from Regenr8.ai, Horwath HTL Oregon, and Collective Retreats about opportunities offered by different types of group bookings such as retreats, events, and remote workers.
Moderated by Glamping Business Editor and Publisher Steph Curtis-Raleigh, this session will traverse the opportunities and complications of special group bookings and what requirements guests may have.
Another panel discussion, How to Increase Online Bookings will be moderated by The Dyrt President John Hayden. The group of experts sitting down during the discussion will be from Autocamp, CampV, Timberline Glamping Company, and more.
In between conference sessions, attendees can register to test drive e-bikes at the Equestrian Center.
Meanwhile, the expo continues today before the show wraps up for the year. The expo today will open at 10:00 a.m. and close at 4:00 p.m.
Yesterday, The Glamping Show USA 2022 was off to a great start as it saw greater foot traffic than last year. Whitney Scott of Terramor Outdoor Resort and Kampgrounds of America (KOA) also delivered a keynote address where she shared data from Terramor’s Glamping Research.
Educational sessions, the expo, and networking also began yesterday, and are all scheduled to continue today.
