Interested in buying a campground? Kampgrounds of America (KOA) is hosting a buyer’s workshop in Fort Collins, Colorado this October where industry experts will share knowledge about purchasing and operating a campground.
The workshop is scheduled from October 8-9 at the Fort Collins/Lakeside KOA Holiday.
Attendees will learn critical information to consider when buying or developing a campground throughout the two-day educational event. KOA experts will also give a comprehensive look at campground ownership and an overview of the industry and hospitality trends as well as insurance needs of campgrounds.
“Camping isn’t just camping anymore. Millions of people across North America choose camping as their preferred way to vacation and travel,” Larry Brownfield, KOA’s assistant vice president of franchise development, said in a press release.
“Camping has always been a great industry, but it’s taking its place as a major player within the larger travel space,” he added.
For $275 per person or $325 per couple, those who will register for the workshop will also experience a behind-time-scenes tour of the host venue and will see how a campground operates. Fees include all materials as well as one lunch and one breakfast.
According to KOA’s press release, with the campground industry continuing to be one of the strongest segments of the travel industry, the KOA Buyer’s Workshop will provide potential campground owners with the guidance and information they need to make informed decisions as they consider campground ownership.
