Campspot has launched a new revenue channel called “Campspot Accelerator” which aims to help private campground owners and operators across the United States.
The new feature will enable third-party ancillary products like insurance and offers from premier partners in the outdoor industry to appear on the campgrounds’ consumer booking sites.
According to a press release, a portion of the revenue generated from these placements will be automatically returned to the campground, allowing owners to increase their revenue without any extra effort.
Campspot Accelerator is designed to be selective and offers high-value placements to the customers while maximizing revenue potential for the campgrounds.
As part of the launch, the platform has partnered with two major companies: RVshare, a website for renting RVs, and Sensible Weather, an insurance provider.
Sensible Weather’s product, the Weather Guarantee, reimburses campers’ reservation costs when rain impacts their experience, and will now be available for purchase by campers on the booking site.
The platform is free to join, and once the campground owners have signed up, they do not have to take any additional steps to start earning incremental revenue. The funds generated will be sent directly to campgrounds each quarter.
The Campspot Accelerator program is an excellent opportunity for campground owners to increase their revenue streams and offer additional value to their customers. With this new feature, owners can grow their business and provide an enhanced experience for their guests.
