Camping World Holdings, Inc., the world’s largest recreational vehicle dealer, has finalized the acquisition of Hitch RV’s assets, adding three new locations in Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.
According to a press release, the company plans to open these locations within the first quarter of the year following facility upgrades.
This acquisition marks Camping World’s expansion into Delaware, its 44th state, further solidifying its national footprint.
Chairman and CEO Marcus Lemonis emphasized that the addition of these dealerships aligns with the company’s strategy of identifying acquisition targets suitable for conversion to Manufacturer Exclusive locations.
He noted that the company is committed to capitalizing on the current strong merger and acquisition landscape in the dealership sector.
Camping World Holdings, headquartered in Lincolnshire, Illinois, is the largest retailer of RVs and related products and services, operating under the Camping World and Good Sam brands.
