Coachella Lakes RV Resort to Host Easter Weekend Festivities With Family-Friendly Activities

Coachella Lakes RV Resort in California will host a full slate of Easter weekend events, offering families and visitors a range of recreational and holiday-themed activities from April 3 through April 5.

The resort, located near Joshua Tree, Palm Springs, and the Coachella festivals, will feature events designed for both children and adults, including an Easter egg hunt, pool party, and a catch-and-release fishing tournament.

Guests can also participate in outdoor games, a putting competition, and other seasonal activities.

The resort offers 351 big-rig friendly full-hookup RV sites, along with fully furnished one- and two-bedroom cottages.

Amenities include five lakes, two swimming pools, a desert splash pad, an 18-hole putting course, pet-friendly accommodations, and high-speed 5G Wi-Fi.

Friday, April 3, the weekend will begin with the Honor System Putting Tournament from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., followed by a Wild Tie-Dye activity at 1 p.m. and a dive-in movie showing of Guardians of the Galaxy at 7 p.m.

On Saturday, April 4, activities will include an all-day Easter scavenger hunt, the Pup Cup Social at 9 a.m., a pool party from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and afternoon games such as a water balloon toss at 3 p.m. and a water truck event at 3:30 p.m.

Sunday, April 5, will feature the highlight of the weekend: an Easter egg hunt with the Easter Bunny at 10 a.m., giving families the opportunity to celebrate the holiday in a recreational setting.

Coachella Lakes RV Resort emphasizes accessibility and convenience for travelers, offering pull-thru and back-in RV sites along with cottages that accommodate a range of group sizes.

The resort positions itself as a desert oasis, combining recreational opportunities with proximity to popular regional attractions while maintaining a private and spacious environment.

The resort encourages guests to plan visits early, as Easter is noted as one of the busiest weekends of the spring season. Visitors can expect a combination of organized events and self-guided activities across the property’s lakes, pools, and open recreational spaces.

The weekend lineup reflects the resort’s broader strategy of providing seasonal programming that engages both families and individual travelers, offering structured competitions, social events, and relaxation areas for diverse interests.

Families and guests attending the Easter weekend events will have opportunities for both active and leisure activities, including fishing, golf, poolside gatherings, and holiday-themed games, reinforcing the resort’s appeal as a multi-generational destination.
