KRUG Expedition Unveils Bedrock XT2 6×6 for Off-Road Travel Market

KRUG Expedition, renowned builder of elite off-road expedition vehicles, proudly announces the launch of its most ambitious and refined model to date: the brand new Bedrock XT2 6×6. Built on a rugged 6×6 platform and engineered for boundless exploration, the XT2 introduces the company’s most luxurious, spacious living module yet—setting a new standard for high-end overland travel.

Standing at over 27 feet in length, the newest rendition of the Bedrock XT2 is KRUG Expedition’s largest vehicle to date and the first to feature an imposing 6×6 all-wheel-drive configuration, dramatically enhancing off-road capability, control, and payload capacity. Designed for explorers who demand both extreme performance capabilities and uncompromising comfort within, the XT2 6×6 delivers a seamless blend of robust utility and refined living.

“The new 6×6 Bedrock XT2 represents the pinnacle of what we’ve always aimed to create—true independence, rugged capability, and the freedom to roam the world in complete luxury,” comments CEO of KRUG Expedition, Slawa Knorr. “With the XT2, we’re not just offering a vehicle; we’re offering an entirely new lifestyle. With enhanced power and performance paired with more interior space than ever before, this new Bedrock XT2 establishes an entirely new level of off-road exploration in the expedition vehicle category.”

The heart of the Bedrock XT2 is its all-new luxury living module—a completely redesigned interior environment that redefines what’s possible in a mobile expedition unit. Every detail has been carefully crafted to evoke the ambiance of a modern luxury apartment, with generous space, refined finishes, and intelligent design features.

Highlights include an expansive interior layout with full-height ceilings and panoramic windows, perfect for supporting high-end materials such as hand-finished cabinetry, leather accents, and solid surface countertops. Premium appliances and a fully functional kitchen allow for everyday cooking while on the go, making the Bedrock XT2 6×6 feel like a true extension of one’s home. Spacious sleeping quarters with a full queen-size bed and ample storage space make resting at night easier than ever before within the vehicle’s living module. A luxurious bathroom setup provides a functioning shower and composting toilet.

Other modern amenities include smart climate control throughout the living module, as well as advanced power management and satellite connectivity. A fresh water tank with 118 gallons of fresh water storage allows for safe long-distance travel and storage in even the most remote locations. 1,450 watts of solar power and a battery bank with 23,000 watt hours ensure clients have ample power while out on excursions across the globe.

KRUG Expedition builds their module walls using reinforced sandwich panels with superior insulation and performance characteristics, which allows each living habitat to be completely free of cold bridges. This prevents accumulation of condensation inside the module, and also means a significant overall decrease of energy consumption in extreme cold and hot environments. Both the inside and outside of the wall and ceiling panels are coated with an extremely strong GRP laminate that is extraordinarily resistant to mechanical influences. This is one of the major quality features that distinguishes KRUG from competitors in the space. These winterized systems and extreme climate insulation allow for all-season travel in any conditions.

One other differentiating factor between KRUG and other expedition vehicle builders is that the Bedrock XT2’s module design emphasizes function and is tailored to the needs of long-distance travelers. With a wide range of materials and interior components to choose from, KRUG clients are able to customize their module according to their specific preferences, offering nearly unparalleled flexibility that is not often found in the space. All interior furniture is made from lightweight wood panels, making them easy to move and reconfigure as needed.

Built on a custom AT44 XT2 FORD F-550 chassis courtesy of Arctic Trucks, the Bedrock XT2 boasts the power and performance required to navigate the most remote landscapes on Earth. A stout 6.7L V8 diesel good for 330 horsepower paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission allows the Bedrock XT2 to seamlessly conquer any terrain in its path. Sporting dimensions of 148 inches in height, 98 inches in width and 330 inches in length, the new 6×6 Bedrock offers an imposing figure whether on or off-road.

Whether tackling the icy routes of Siberia or the rocky deserts of Baja, the XT2 is built to endure and keep travelers comfortable every mile of the way. The new Bedrock XT2 6×6 is now available for order alongside KRUG Expedition’s globally-renowned module living spaces. For more information and to order a KRUG living module, visit krugxp.us.
