Safeguard Offers £3,000 Camping Prize Giveaway at NEC Show

Visitors heading to this year’s Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show at the NEC Birmingham will have the opportunity to win a bundle of camping equipment and additional prizes worth more than £3,000, as part of a special giveaway hosted by motorhome and campervan insurance specialist Safeguard.

The competition marks the launch of Safeguard’s new advertising campaign, with the company confirming it will be present throughout the show and inviting attendees to take part according to an article by Birmingham World.

Every visitor who stops by the Safeguard stand will have the chance to enter the prize draw, which includes a collection of camping equipment alongside other rewards designed to appeal to touring enthusiasts.

“We’re very excited to be at the NEC for the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show,” said Mark Sheppard, senior trading manager at Safeguard.

“We invite everyone attending the show to drop by our stand, not only for the chance to win our fantastic prize giveaway, but also to get an insurance quote and clear up any insurance-related queries they may have,” He added

“Our recent research into buyers’ knowledge revealed that 40% of prospective motorhome or campervan owners are unaware that they need a separate, dedicated insurance policy to be legally compliant. It’s misunderstandings like this that we’re here to clarify,” He explained

Safeguard’s presence at the event will run from 17-22 February, with its team located on Stand 2212 in Hall 2 at the NEC Birmingham.

In addition to the prize draw, representatives will be available to provide insurance quotes and answer questions from visitors who may be unsure about coverage requirements for motorhomes and campervans.

The research referenced by Sheppard was conducted by The Leadership Factor between 9-12 January 2026 and surveyed 1,000 UK respondents, highlighting a significant gap in awareness among prospective buyers when it comes to insurance obligations.

By combining an engaging prize giveaway with practical insurance advice, Safeguard’s appearance at the show underlines the growing importance of clear, accessible information for motorhome and campervan owners, making it a timely development for the wider RV industry as consumer interest continues to expand.
