Brynowen Holiday Park Seeks New Recruits After Record-Breaking Year

Brynowen Holiday Park in Borth is gearing up for another busy summer season by launching a recruitment drive following substantial investment in accommodation upgrades. The park, operated by Parkdean Resorts, is looking to fill numerous positions after experiencing one of its busiest years on record.

After welcoming over 25,000 holidaymakers last year, Brynowen Holiday Park has invested more than £75,000 over the winter to enhance its facilities. This investment includes the refurbishment of 19 caravans, ensuring improved accommodation options for the influx of visitors expected in the coming months.

Steve Richards, CEO of Parkdean Resorts, expressed the company’s dedication to enhancing guest experiences and creating valuable employment opportunities, as reported by The Cambrian News

“We’re always looking to invest in the guest experience at our parks,” Richards said, as quoted in the Cambrian report. “We create rewarding jobs in the community which can turn into life-long careers in hospitality, and our staff engagement score of 83%, which is well above the sector average, shows our teams are happy.”

Brynowen employs nearly 100 people during peak season, and with strong bookings projected for 2024, the park aims to expand its team. Parkdean Resorts plans to recruit 6,000 people across its 66 UK-wide parks, including 750 positions in Wales alone.

This recruitment drive not only supports the local economy but also offers job seekers the chance to join a company renowned for its positive work environment and commitment to staff development.

The improvements at Brynowen are part of a broader strategy by Parkdean Resorts to ensure high-quality guest experiences across all its locations. The enhanced accommodations are expected to attract even more visitors to the Borth resort, contributing to the park’s ongoing success.

According to a report by the British Hospitality Association, the hospitality sector is one of the largest employers in the UK, providing jobs for over 3.2 million people. This highlights the significance of recruitment drives like that of Parkdean Resorts in sustaining local economies and providing career opportunities within the community.

Richards emphasized the significance of the upcoming season, noting, “2024 promises to be another busy year, so there’s no better time to join our brilliant team who do so much to help our guests make lasting memories with their families.”

As Brynowen Holiday Park prepares for peak season, the call for new recruits highlights the dynamic and supportive work environment offered by Parkdean Resorts. The company’s focus on employee satisfaction and career development makes it an attractive option for those seeking employment in the hospitality sector.

Interested candidates are encouraged to apply and become part of a team dedicated to delivering exceptional holiday experiences. For more information on available positions and to apply, visit Parkdean Resorts Careers.
