BCLCA to Host Free April Webinars for Campground Operators

Operators of campgrounds, RV parks, and lodging businesses are invited to join two upcoming educational sessions hosted by the British Columbia Lodging and Campgrounds Association (BCLCA), aimed at helping the outdoor hospitality sector adapt to emerging technologies and regulatory challenges. Both events are free and accessible online.

The first session, a webinar titled Harnessing AI: Innovative Strategies for Campground Operations and Marketing, will be held on Wednesday, April 16, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. via Zoom. The session will focus on how artificial intelligence is transforming campground operations and marketing strategies.

Brian Searl, founder of Insider Perks, Inc., will host the webinar. He is expected to share insights into how AI tools can streamline operations, personalize guest experiences, and improve marketing effectiveness for campground operators.

“This session will provide actionable insights for campground operators looking to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape,” organizers stated in a session overview.

Attendees will also receive practical advice on adopting AI-driven systems, improving guest engagement, and enhancing business efficiencies. The session also aims to address common questions about how small- to medium-sized operators can incorporate AI into existing frameworks.

Registration for the webinar is open. Upon registration, participants will receive a confirmation email with access details.

The second event, a Parking Lot Meeting titled Managing Extended Stays in RV Parks and Campgrounds, is scheduled for Thursday, April 24, from 9 to 10 a.m.

The session continues a conversation started in November 2024 with the release of BCLCA’s “Managing Extended Stays: Best Practices Guidelines for Campground Operators.”

Lisa Mackie, a partner at Alexander Holburn Beaudin + Lang LLP, will lead the discussion. A practicing lawyer, Mackie will expand on the November guidelines and address legal considerations involved in managing long-term guests at RV parks and campgrounds.

Campground operators interested in attending the Parking Lot Meeting can register at Zoom registration link.
