Newbook Introduces Enterprise Central Reservation System

Call times reduced by almost half, a streamlined booking process, and more time to offer guests an enhanced experience are only some of the promises of Newbook‘s Enterprise Central Reservation System.

Today, Newbook revealed the launch of this innovative system designed to transform the way multi-property operators manage their bookings.

The system’s groundbreaking design allows operators to view each property’s availability, pricing, and facilities on a single screen, enabling bookings on behalf of guests with a simplified checkout process. Promising to cut call times by an estimated 50%, the new system could minimize missed calls and significantly elevate the guest experience.

Recent surveys from KOA and IBISWorld highlight the importance of catering to an older generation of travelers, notably the Gen X and Baby Boomers.

A substantial 44% of new campers are 40 years and older, per KOA. The Australian caravan park industry is also projected to grow annually by 4.3% over the next five years, per IBISWorld. This growth is largely attributed to travelers aged 35-54 with the most discretionary income and those aged 55+ with the most leisure time.

Despite the digital-savvy nature of younger generations, a significant portion of older travelers prefers to make bookings via phone calls. This demographic represents a considerable market share and revenue, maintaining established booking patterns that blend online research with personal interactions. This preference is especially prominent for multi-destination trips, where talking to a person to make a booking adds a layer of convenience and assurance.

Multi-property caravan and holiday parks stand to benefit immensely from Newbook’s new system. Being part of a group offering loyalty programs and multiple destinations has been identified as a crucial success factor by IBISWorld.

The Enterprise Central Reservation System aims to make managing phone bookings—a juggling act considering the myriad factors like preferences, caravan size, facilities, etc.—significantly more efficient.

The system is not merely about speed and efficiency. It promises enhanced upsell opportunities as well. Teams will be equipped to offer guests additions to their bookings, such as activities, upgrades, food, and beverages, potentially increasing average upsells by 10%.

“We are confident that our Enterprise Central Reservation System will be a game-changer for businesses in the hospitality industry,” said Shaun Cornelius, CEO of Newbook.

The system is now available to all Newbook Enterprise clients, providing them with a comprehensive platform to simplify operations and enhance the guest experience.

Newbook, an award-winning property management and online booking system provider, has been delivering high-quality products for over a decade. With a presence in over 50,000 businesses worldwide, their mission is to help customers create memorable experiences.

This launch follows Newbook’s recent brand update and major enhancements to its system, signifying its continued commitment to innovation in the hospitality industry.
